Dreams surround us and shelter us in a world that during the time they last is real and known to us. In dreams we are ourselves and sometimes others and we experience emotions, we live stories and we go through unsuspected circumstances. Part of our soul, of our fears, of our desires, of what we do not know speaks to us while we sleep.
In this book, I compile some of the many dreams that I wrote for many years half-asleep in my bed and that some time later I reread in surprise. Likewise, each writing is accompanied by an intuitively handmade illustration where I try to get closer to the sensation or memory that I still have from my dreams.
"Escenas Oníricas" is a compendium of dreams, just as they occurred, without judging or correcting, without changing the succession of the events that occurred, without giving a necessary meaning to the story. A description of vivid moments that allows me to reconcile with acceptance, with non-control and with observation without prejudice.
Rebeca Nomberto (Author)
Review:
The experiences and situations that arise in dreams and that are part of human experiences, as memories or obsessions, are recreated with intensity and literary baggage by the author, who in this way perpetuates moments that are often diluted in everyday life.
